Meredith and Brandon reached out to me for their November wedding at Arbor Haven, a wedding venue in Fredericksburg, VA. It has the loveliest gazebo by a pond, a barn for the reception, and gorgeous views.
Meredith knew she wanted fall colors, but for them to be softened by light pinks, beige, and sage green. She described her aesthetic as somewhere between boho and garden styles. For the bridesmaids they chose simple, small bouquets made up of olive and lisianthus. These popped against their dresses and really let Meredith’s bouquet take the center stage.
For these wedding florals, we knew we wanted to use lots of texture and chose blooms that had interesting textures and ruffles like chrysanthemums, lisianthus, roses, ranunculus, and snapdragons. The challenge here was to put these traditional flowers together in a way that reflected Meredith and Brandon’s aesthetic.
Meredith and Brandon had chosen eucalyptus as their primary foliage and we incorporated fern and olive as well.
One of the most fun parts of this wedding was making the collar for Dexter to wear; and, wear it he did, so handsomely!
Meredith and Brandon had this to say about their wedding florals:
” I HIGHLY recommend booking with Ket for your wedding!! She is so thoughtful, caring, attentive, and talented! She explained every detail throughout the entire planning process and was able to create a beautiful floral color palette and display within my budget.”
Shoutout to a dream vendor team!
