Hi, I'm Ket!
it’s short for Keturah, but since that's hard to pronounce, I go by Ket most of the time.
My love of flowers goes all the way back to my childhood when I would pick the petals of my mom’s hundreds of red poppies (the only flowers that were unlimited to the hands of children) and pretend I was in a petal storm. I’ve grown up a little bit, but that childish wonder of flowers is still there. I’m blessed to have found work that feeds my soul and brings me closer to the Creator, each design is an act of worship.
I live in Timberville, VA with my husband, daughter, and our cat. I like staying up late, sleeping in (don’t tell the florist officials), watching TV, reading the latest Ruth Ware novel, and thrifting. Ask me where anything in my house came from and 9 times out of 10 it came from a yard sale or thrift store.

About Us
My husband, Alex, and I met at work and connected when I hosted a failed game night. Imagine my horror when NO ONE except this coworker I’d met twice showed up to the game night. It turned out ok, though. We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in Fall 2022. Our daughter, Saffron, is your typical feisty toddler, who named her doll “Flower Arrangement.
A fun fact about Ali is that she’s my niece! So, even when we’re not working together, we still get to hang out frequently. Ali is pretty much Saffron’s favorite person in the world and she thinks it’s absolutely amazing every time Ali comes to work.

I enjoy photography, floristry, art, and traveling in general. I am 17 and one more year till graduation which I'm super excited for! I absolutely love summer & fall. I love putting little bow ties on our cats. I am so excited to do the next upcoming wedding!

I’m a wife & mama first. Saffron will almost certainly pop in to say hi during our consult call. Sometimes she’ll even pop up on wedding day. Alex will almost certainly be with me, packing the car, loading and unloading, sweeping and being amazing. Then, there’s Ali, who is my design right hand.
When we chat on a video call for your consult, we’ll talk ALLLLL about your wedding flowers, and I’ll pray for you. When I work on your wedding behind the scenes, I’m praying for you and your partner and your marriage. I love supporting the covenant of marriage through florals that tell YOUR story. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Keturah on the flowers for our wedding. She created my bridal bouquet, boutonnières for my husband and my father, and corsages for the mothers of the bride and groom along with an installation that served as the backdrop for our ceremony and family photos. During our initial consultation she asked lots of questions to make sure she knew our likes, dislikes, and the look and feel of our wedding. Her designs were gorgeous and original, incorporating blooms that were local and in-season. She went the extra mile in building her own frame for the installation when the one she normally used was unavailable. The arrangements she made for the installation were lovely and unique in their use of red amaranth to create a cascading effect. Guests are still complementing us on how lovely the flowers were even 4 months after our wedding!
I would not hesitate to recommend Keturah to a bride (anyone) looking for floral designs using in-season blooms and creative flair.
